Tolls to be added to Sea Bright

A $1.50 congestion toll is being added to Sea Bright, New Jersey to pay for the new bridge. Tolls will be collected one way entering Sea Bright from both the Mommouth Beach entrance and the Rumson entrance. No tolls leaving Sea Bright.

The toll is to address congestion in the area as well as to fund projects within Sea Bright.

The only way to go from Monmouth Beach to Highlands avoiding the toll will be through Seven Bridges road.

Anyone caught evading the toll will have their car impounded on the spot.

Proposed toll schedule will be $1.50 for New Jersey residents, $15 for New York residents and $150 for Massachusetts residents. No cash will be accepted to keep traffic moving.
